About Finn
Meet Finn.
Finn is a therapist working through the liberative and relational lenses of psychotherapy. He believes that many of the mental health struggles we experience result from a mismatch between rigid cultural expectations and our inner drive to self-actualize.
Finn has worked with those experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, relationship, difficulties, transitions through life stages, grief, and trauma. He helps those he works with to find new, constructive ways to communicate their wants and needs; with others and with themselves. To this end, Finn encourages the people he works with to communicate what they are experiencing moment-by-moment in the therapeutic hour, be it joy or sadness, comfort or discomfort.
Finn knows that identities like race, gender, and sexual orientation play a role in how we experience the world and how we are experienced by others and seeks to affirm and explore these dynamics within the therapeutic space.
Finn earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, through a program which was grounded in holistic, culturally aware, and relational work. In his spare time he likes to read, make photographs, and go for bike rides through the city.
