About Aysan
Meet Aysan. Aysan is a mental health counselor who graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University. Fluent in English, Persian, and Greek, she brings a warm, culturally aware, and trauma-informed approach to therapy.

She works with clients navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, helping them process emotions, build coping skills, and gain self-understanding. She is trained in EMDR (EMDRIA-approved) and she mainly uses psychodynamic and relational approaches, while also integrating CBT, DBT, mindfulness, journaling, and creative tools like poetry and painting, tailoring therapy to your unique story.
